Environmental Education

Enchanted Wings receives students of all ages from all over Honduras who come to learn about their native flora and fauna. They receive talks on the importance of insects and how humans benefit from them. They are also taught the life cycle of butterflies which for most of them is their first exposure to this strange world. For many of the students this is their first formal look at native flora and fauna taught by professional Naturalists. Some teachers are beginning to return each year and have developed a worksheet that their students must fill out during their visit.
